I came in to the Surbiton store to buy good quality running shoes to run my first marathon in a few months. I was greeted by Emily with a huge smile on her face. I don’t know anything about running shoes so I had a lot of questions to ask. She went through with me the gate analysis and her product knowledge was excellent, catering exactly to my needs. I normally don’t leave reviews but I thought her customer service was excellent and will definitely be back when I need need new shoes.

Bought 2 pairs of Roadhog socks with 2 pairs of Brooks from Alan at the Sevenoaks store, had a problem with one of the socks, got a replacement from the Sevenoaks shop and from Claire at Up&Running. Both went above and beyond to help me with the problem. Will definitely use Up&Running for any further assistance.

I normally buy my shoes by going into the shop and doing a proper gait analysis, trying on etc where the staff are lovely. Because shops were shut, I ordered two items online and received a confirmation email. 4 days later I got am email saying my order was being refunded with no explanation why or apology. I emailed customer services to ask why and in the meantime got a refund of LESS than the amount they have taken out of my account. When I got a response (9 days later!) they said that the 'system had flagged the order up as a High risk of been a fraudulent transaction'. If this was the case, the money should not have been taken out of my account in the first place. I requested to know why I was not informed and a refund of the full amount taken and the person I communicated with (Mike) repeatedly sent unhelpful emails and would not listen or make any helpful suggestions. Such a shame, I have been going to Up and Running for years and will not be going back again.

Excellent service, Hayden phoned in the morning to check if it was okay my flip belt wasn’t in the colour I wanted. Lovely chap, and as promised this morning it was delivered with a packet of Haribo.Only wish I’d found this company when I began purchasing my running equipment.Thanks team 10/10
